Jim has over 25 years of experience fishing on the Great Lakes. The enthusiasm of fishing started on Lake Superior where he would target Lake Trout with his favorite area being the Outer Islands which is part of the Apostle Islands in Ashland County. This area has been known for holding big Lake Trout with deep cold water providing the perfect home for these monster fish to roam. The excitement grew as he moved to Southern Wisconsin and found large Salmon that inhabited Lake Michigan. The excitement of these fish is hard to match as they fight extremely hard and provide great excitement for anglers. The area he prefers to fish is Racine County, as this area is full of structure that will hold a variety of fish at given times. Jim takes a great deal of pride doing several seminars a year throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan. If you’re not fishing, than what’s better than talking about fishing? The ability to help anglers have success each and every trip is something that you will remember when all else fades away. The anglers will remind you with a Thank You when you see them again at the boat launch, and remind you why it is important to give back to our fisheries. An active member in fishing clubs is also of great importance as these clubs continue to fight for a stable fishery for years to come for all to enjoy. If doing tournaments or just fishing with friends there is no time like time spent on the water!!!!!!!!!!
